Short Staffed with one nurse for the entire building some nights. Higher ups are no where to be found and the ED (Executive Director) hides in her office with her shades shut and plays dumb pretending to be unaware of the chaos that takes place in her building (EMBARASSING). Coordinators are extremely hard to reach and never on the unit. I've witnessed aides refuse residents service such as changing or even the smallest of tasks like reaching for something. It appears to be the aides (CNAs) are all in cahoots with each other and know they can get away with bare minimum work or no work at all and sit on their phones and even take naps during their shifts. Some Coordiantors are aware of this Behavoir and have done nothing to reprimand their staff. Instead they encourage or part take in it. I saw one Coordinator joke around with the CNAs talking about the trip to the bar from the night before while residents scream in pain or cry for help. For the price get a home health aide and cameras.
