Merrill Gardens Senior Living

Founded in 1993, Merrill Gardens is a fifth-generation family owned company with roots that stretch back into the 1890s. This rich history in excellence has helped Merrill Gardens to expand across the country, with 64 locations across 19 states. CEO Tana Gall carries over 20 years of senior living experience, and leads Merrill Gardens independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.

Recognizing that the best care comes from happy employees, Merrill Gardens has been recognized as a great place to work by organizations like Great Place to Work Institute. Some communities have won design awards while Merrill Gardens overall has been recognized for its use of technology, and for the hard work of its women in leadership. In partnership with Google, Merrill Gardens installed 1,000 Nest Hub Max devices in their Washington communities in 2020. These devices helped residents stave off feelings of isolation and take part in virtual concerts and shows. Excellent communication at every level. Outstanding management. The lead nurse is not only welcoming and caring, but a true professional and his entire team reflects that. The activities director is tireless, positive, engaging, considerate and caring. From the start, my mother says, "I like it here. I want to stay."
