La Siena is a luxury assisted living community located in bustling north-central Phoenix, AZ. Costs start at about $3,200 per month for one-bedroom and two-bedroom living spaces and include fully equipped kitchens, stainless steel appliances, personal washer and dryer, walk-in closets, and a covered patio or balcony. The 24-hour staff is available for assistance with any activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing or medication management. The entire assisted living community is pet-friendly, so fur babies are always welcomed. The local north Phoenix area offers many attractions including world-class golf courses, theaters, museums, music venues, and popular shopping opportunities. For the more adventurous, Squaw Peak and the Phoenix Mountains Preserve are nearby for hiking and exploring. The luxury senior retirement community features gorgeous landscaped courtyards, gardens and walking paths for relaxing or visiting, plus a fully equipped fitness center, an indoor swimming pool and spa, a putting green, a movie theater, a dance studio, a billiards room, a shuffleboard court, an Internet cafe, an art room with crafting areas, a library with reading and game nooks, a dedicated chapel for prayer and faith services, and a full-service beauty salon with barbershop.     La Siena has been amazing for my mom. She moved here from another facility that was just awful. La Siena has been amazing since day 1. She has been there close to a year now and loves every part of it. People are active (even though when you tour you see a lot of people in walkers - which was my mom's concern), happy and love attending the events. There is a good mix of ages and abilities and the staff and events cater to everyone. My mom walks her dogs around the property and by the canal with several other residents and attends daily events with others who come to her room to make sure she is aware of the event. The food is good, the staff is wonderful and the building and grounds are beautiful.

    I want to be fair to La Siena in that their independent living is the best. The Director, Jonathan B. Is very involved and I hear him address residents by name. The activities are numerous from; chair exercise classes, gym, happy hour twice a week with entertaining brought in once a week. Great singers and musicians get things going. Bingo is very popular, there’s a pool table in lounge area with quite a few pool sharks playing. Beautiful library and lobby and dining room. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi is clean and inviting. Nicky is phenomenal with engaging residents. She is truly an Angel. Martine and Pancho are brothers and are great guys. They keep LA Siena safe with their facility manager skills, they helped hang my mom’s pictures. They stopped in to say hello and check on her during Covid. They are authentic. Activity Director is wonderful and also knows residents by name. Nicky also. The dining staff works hard and are patient with residents. Recommend highly

    Sometimes clients ask me where I would place my own family. They are usually happy when they hear that both of my grandfathers and my great aunt lived at La Siena. La Siena is a beautiful community in North Central Phoenix. People who have lived in Phoenix for a while will remember the location as the old Bud Brown’s Barn. They pay homage to Bud in the form of a Happy Hour at Bud’s Pub every evening and it is usually packed with residents having a great time. This is a very lively community with a lot of social activities. They also do a really great job of tailoring care to each person and can give as much or as little care as needed. Every caregiver, maintenance person, administrator, waitstaff, housekeeper, and staff member that we encountered while my family was there, was courteous and professional. I would not hesitate to place a loved one there again.
