Rita is a wonderful person to work with she's been working with me helping me out looking for a place for me just wonderful I really appreciate it I'd recommend her to anybody she's a very kind lady thank you Rita you're so wonderful
Rita is wonderful to work with. So glad that she helped my Mother-in-law find her new residence. I definitely recommend contacting Rita. Very knowledgeable and such a caring lady.
She worked quickly in finding places that would be compatible with my 87 year old mother. She asked questions that assisted her in finding the right fit. She took me on tours of several adult care homes in my area. Fortunately they all had vacancies which is unusual, but you have to be prepared to move quickly as there are many people vying for a place. She kept in touch with me once my mom was settled in to see how things were going. She is very knowledgeable and caring and wants to find the best fit. I’m so glad I was able to work with her!
What we think about Rita
Rita is driven to truly help every family she possibly can - no matter their circumstances she will find a way to serve and support them on their senior living journey.
Rita McBride graduated cum laude from San Jose State University in Recreation and Leisure Studies. After 20 years in the travel and hospitality industry, including managing a civic center in Virginia, she was recruited into the healthcare arena. Her concentration in the field includes developing both sides of helping seniors during times of transition. First, with a non-medical home care agency whose mission was to allow seniors to age safely in their own home. Then, over the last 18 years, she has helped families when it became necessary to move to assistance outside their homes. She is the owner of A Better Solution for Senior Living, LLC, a placement agency dedicated to finding the ideal living solution for each individual. She is one of the original founders of Arizona’s Professional Association of Senior Referral Specialists (PASRS), having seen the value for an association of professional peers to address best practices and a vision for the industry. She is co-chair of the Public and Professional Education committee with Maricopa Elder Abuse Prevention Alliance (MEAPA) and serves on the Memory Alliance Committee (MAC) through the Arizona chapter of Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA).
