Bloom At Bluffton

Since 1965, Bloom at Bluffton has been operating as a family-owned and operated assisted living and memory care establishment on a vibrant and private 10-acre plot in the heart of Bluffton, South Carolina. One of Bloom’s advantages is that it offers a full array of onsite supportive services, including a primary care doctor, dentist, psychologist, occupational therapist, dietician, ophthalmologist and a massage therapist, to name a few. There is even an onsite veterinarian for Fido and Fluffy!

Bloom at Bluffton offers assisted living, memory care, and respite care. Residents can select their apartment floor plan and design their private apartment. Bloom also respects diversity through making vegetarian and kosher meals available through its chef-prepared meals and anytime snacks and beverages. This dining program is one of the Bloom’s premiere attractions; in collaboration with the program’s dietician, the chef incorporates resident's personal recipes, special requests, old time favorites and dietary needs as well as multi-national foods into the days’ meals, resulting in multi-course gourmet menus customized with residents’ health, personal tastes and preferences in mind.

The center’s activities include those that address cognitive, nutritional, spiritual, physical and social needs; trivia games, antiques road show, Socrates café, yoga, fly shots, wellness checks, pet companion services, and photography club are some of the activities offers. In addition, Bloom offers personalized services such as assistance with daily living (i.e. waking, dressing, bathing, dining and grooming), medication management, mealtime reminders, nighttime checks, escort services, incontinence, monitoring of social and behavior habits, diabetic care, additional laundry, linen and housekeeping services. In the memory care program, every patient is evaluated so that an individualized care plan can be developed and activities can be carefully designed and crafted, including projects that meet the resident’s needs, such as baking and art projects. Daily activities are carefully selected to stimulate long-term memories that remain. Bloom offers month-to-month rentals with no buy-in fees or long-term leases. With no "tiers" or "points," the fixed-rate program is all-inclusive, keeping it simple and easy for all to understand.
