New Albany - An Optalis Health & Rehabilitation Center

If I could give them ten stars, I would. My sister and I have no complaints at all. From the second we arrived to the moment we left with our mother almost two weeks later it has been the best. She felt safe, secure, and loved it. We took her out on a little ride and she could not wait to get back to her room. She has had a pretty rough 85 days being in and out of hospitals and other rehab facilities that were lower than below the lowest low for facilities. I wish we had found this one the first time around. The whole atmosphere is very homey and calm. They have bright call lights above each room and they have signage that shows that at the nurse’s station which room needs assistance. Wild turkeys, deer, beautiful places for family to sit inside and outside. It has been impressive from day 1 and I could go on and on, but I do not have enough room. Our mother was taken care of just like we would have and we felt at ease during the day knowing she was there. They care, truly cared about her and helping her get back on her feet at the highest level they could help her get to. We’ve sadly taken her to other facilities in the area and were disappointed beyond belief. Not at New Albany Rehab. I hope she NEVER has to need that type of care again, but if she does, she is definitely going there.
