If you are thinking of putting a loved one here please think twice. The only positive thing we can say is the actual residence is beautiful because it is brand new. In the two and half weeks my mom was there, they promised us the world. They stated that there was a high staff to patient ratio compared to other places. These were all MISREPRESENTATIONS. My mom was first given the wrong medication (over medicated which essentially led her to a hospital), she fell out of the bed twice (in which one circumstance she was on the floor for over an hour until EMS showed up because they didn't have a protocol with our family in place), and my mother was denied being brought to the bathroom when she or my father requested multiple times during her short stay. The nurse and the aides said "oh we don't do that, they go in the diapers". SERIOUSLY? When we had a meeting with upper management they assured us that the staff would never say that. Even her hospice nurse, who was there daily, requested her to be brought to the bathroom. Does management really know what is going on? They promised enrichment, little to none was given. One of the aides, also told my Dad, there are better places to put my mom and gave suggestions. So after the horrible 2 and half weeks, we pulled her out to a great facility where she is being looked after and properly cared for. We asked for my money back to end this nightmare, and they proceeded to inform us that they can only give you your community money back ($1000). They have kept over $9,000 for the two and half week stay! We tried handling this amicably with them and they didn't want to hear it. We don't want anyone to go through the nightmare we endured at this very difficult stage of life. We would never give a bad review unless we felt this should be heard. My mom has suffered irrevocable damage from this facility. There is a way to run a business and this is far from it. Thank you for listening.
