Brooklyn Pointe Assisted Living and Memory Care receives mixed reviews from residents and their families. Many praise the facility for its friendly and caring staff, clean environment, and engaging activities. The staff, including the director Danielle, is often highlighted for their dedication and personal attention, making residents feel at home and well-cared for. The facility is described as beautiful, with spacious rooms and a welcoming atmosphere. Activities such as bingo, music, and outings are appreciated, and the dining experience is likened to a restaurant with menu options. However, there are significant concerns about management and care quality. Some reviews mention neglect, with staff being inattentive, often on their phones, and management being unresponsive. Issues such as slow response times to resident needs, inadequate staffing, and poor communication are noted. Complaints about the food quality and lack of activities, especially during the pandemic, are also common. Some reviewers express dissatisfaction with the memory care unit, citing it as more of a nursing home with limited engagement for residents. Overall, while Brooklyn Pointe is commended for its positive environment and some dedicated staff, there are notable criticisms regarding management, care consistency, and communication, suggesting a need for improvement in these areas.

Beware! This place has no right to be treating these people this way. They neglect their residents, they lie to you so much when trying to move in about things they provide and how our family member will be happy here which is a total lie. The few people I have spoken with are miserable and wanna get out but the management con their families into them staying. I have seen neglect first hand with the upstairs smelling like weed, the aids sitting around ignoring their residents, management always gone, activities is basically them doing nothing but playing bingo and watching movies and nursing sitting in their office and being loud and rude to residents and their families. Please don't bring your family here! I beg you to stay away they don't care about anybody but themselves!

This place is ran by children. The managers sit in their offices all day and basically hangout and that if you can ever find them in the building. The sales woman promises so much and I would say 70% of it is a lie. The aids sit around and do nothing. The food is good. The activities is basically playing bingo and doesn't seem like they really do anything else. The upstairs smells like skunk. I wouldn't recommend putting your family in this place as they also raise prices right after moving in without warning. Good luck if you out your family in this place cause it will be one thing you will regret in your life.
