The Garden of Eden Home, located in Brooklyn, New York, is an assisted living community in the modern Gravesend neighborhood in the south-central section of the borough. This community caters to individuals who need a moderate level of care to live independently. Although the campus features a high-rise building of 202 apartments, it is designed in a community-style setting, with 24-hour nurse assistance and staffing. This type of setting gives residents the feel of being supported in their own home. Each resident is given an evaluation to determine the level of specialized care they need to independently live their life. This may include assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, or mobility. Assisted living services included in the monthly rate are housekeeping, personal laundry and transportation services.
