What families are saying

We’ve gathered and summarized real family reviews from across the internet for you. Contact a Seniorly representative for details.
Reviews of The Springs at Lake Oswego are predominantly positive, highlighting the community’s attractive facilities, welcoming atmosphere, and attentive staff. Residents and families praise the spacious, high-quality apartments, underground parking, swimming pool, fitness and therapy rooms, theater, game rooms, rooftop recreation area, multiple dining venues, pub, and broad range of activities. Food is frequently described as excellent, varied, and restaurant-quality. Reviewers say staff members are courteous, kind, respectful, and supportive, with several families emphasizing that their loved ones were genuinely loved rather than merely cared for. One family expressed deep gratitude for the assistance provided during both their parents’ residency and end-of-life care, including emotional support for relatives. Another family described the community as feeling like a full-time cruise ship, with abundant activities and opportunities for socializing. A former resident also reported a beautiful apartment, friendly staff, and enjoyable amenities. Tours were generally viewed favorably, with visitors describing the property as attractive, well maintained, upscale, and professionally presented, although some found it too expensive. However, several serious concerns appear in the reviews. A neighborhood incident involved a confused resident in a wheelchair who had left the property and wandered near a busy road. According to the reviewer, facility staff were repeatedly contacted but did not arrive for more than an hour; the reviewer ultimately returned the resident safely. The administrator later responded and promised to investigate. Another former employee alleged poor treatment after a workplace injury, including problems involving pay and workers’ compensation. A family also reported that, following their father’s stroke, the community would not readmit him to assisted living or place him on a memory-care waiting list, forcing a stressful emergency relocation. Overall, reviews praise the lifestyle and staff but advise carefully confirming care-level limits, safety procedures, and costs.
