Very sad facility. The one shower in facility has a clogged drain. So when you try to shower your loved one it backs up and you are standing in God knows what. In this day and age private rooms are a must but here you share. They make no effort to house roommates who may have something in common. Put severely affected dementia patients in rooms with those there for physical rehab. Had a Covid outbreak late in 2023. Sick, sick patients remained in rooms with asymptomatic patients. Linoleum in bathrooms peeling-unsanitary. Portable Commode seats rusty and gross. Wheelchairs have peeling vinyl. Hard time getting facility to answer phone during day. Curtains in rooms torn. The “daily fun” activities are the same almost every day and include tv time and rest time. Not fun. Plus if there IS something that may be fun they don’t make much effort to include residents who really don’t have the mental capacity to choose to opt in or opt out. Those residents just sit out. Overall, a sad facility.
