Brookdale Kettleman Lane receives generally positive reviews for its clean, well-maintained facilities and attentive, helpful staff. Many visitors appreciate the separate memory care building, which offers a secure environment with ample outdoor space and activities like bingo and art classes. The food is often praised for its quality, and the community is noted for its open spaces and freedom for residents to move around. However, some concerns are raised about the high cost, with private rooms being particularly expensive. A few reviews mention issues with staff turnover and management, as well as discrepancies between advertised services and actual offerings. There are also isolated incidents of dissatisfaction, such as a stolen personal item and inadequate care during end-of-life stages. Despite these concerns, many families express satisfaction with the care provided, noting that their loved ones seem happy and well-cared-for. Emeritus at Austin Gardens, another facility mentioned, is described as upscale with good food and activities, but some reviews highlight issues with care monitoring and staff responsiveness. Overall, Brookdale Kettleman Lane is recommended for its quality of care and environment, though potential residents should be mindful of costs and specific care needs.
