This not-for-profit heritage community for seniors is located high atop historic Phinney Ridge, affording beautiful views in all direction. Scandinavian immigrants began planning the home as a haven for their elders in the 1930s, and it was finally opened in 1957. There are accommodations for both independent living and assisted living here. Four dining rooms ensure a comfortable dining experience well-matched to residents’ needs, including a big Sunday Brunch once a month that includes invited friends and family. In addition to easy access to downtown activities, the Woodland Park Zoo is just across the street.
