About The Covington
The Covington is an assisted living community and memory care facility located in Raleigh, NC. The cost of senior care living spaces starts at $3,200 a month which includes all housekeeping, linen, and laundry services. Floor plans include shared and private studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. Raleigh is known as the City of Oaks because of the gorgeous oak trees along the streets, and the senior living property shares this distinction with plenty of beautiful shaded areas. The capital city features many cultural, historical, and educational sites, as well as numerous shopping and dining opportunities. Crabtree Valley Mall and a Harris Teeter store are close by, as are Laurel Hills Community Center and UNC REX Hospital. Transportation is provided for appointments and shopping ventures into the local community. The assisted living facility offers expansive outdoor courtyards, furnished patios, and landscaped gardens for relaxing and socializing. Residents enjoy social meeting areas, a piano area, an in-house salon, private spa, library, and sitting rooms. Three delicious, healthy meals are created daily and served family style in a community dining room. The assisted living community staff members are always available to assist with any activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, or medication management. The memory care facility provides specialized care for people with dementia or Alzheimers disease. Each resident is evaluated according to their experience, skills, and limitations, and a personal development plan is created with specific care options to help them grow and enjoy life to the fullest.
