The Horizon Club receives generally positive reviews for its clean, well-maintained facilities and friendly, caring staff. Many residents and their families appreciate the warm, welcoming environment and the variety of activities offered, such as arts and crafts, outings, and entertainment. The dining experience is often praised, though some express concerns about food quality and service speed. The facility is noted for its spacious rooms and beautiful grounds, although some mention issues with maintenance, such as broken elevators. The staff is frequently commended for their professionalism and dedication, especially during emergencies like hurricanes. However, there are concerns about the high staff-to-resident ratio in assisted living, which can lead to delays in response times. Some reviews highlight the challenge of rising costs, which may outpace residents' incomes. The Horizon Club is appreciated for its ability to accommodate both independent and assisted living needs, with many families feeling reassured by the attentive care provided. The presence of a home care agency within the building is seen as a significant advantage. While some reviews mention dissatisfaction with certain aspects, such as transportation and personalized care, the overall sentiment is that the Horizon Club provides a supportive and engaging environment for its residents.

I moved my father into Horizon Club after looking at 10 different places. I'm glad I did - the staff is amazing and they really care about the residents. The facility is beautiful and well-maintained, and there's always something going on. Part of it is more like senior apartments and the other part is assisted living. My mom has lived here for 7 years and loved it. It can be a little pricey, but to me it's worth it for the peace of mind knowing that your loved one is being well taken care of.
