Frontier Senior Living
Founded in 2000, Frontier Management has 123 locations across 19 states. Partnering with or replacing operators when they take ownership or management of an existing property, Frontier Management focuses on giving the community a new look and on infusing a new philosophy of care. When establishing their own new properties, Frontier Management focuses on providing elevated, enriched experiences to all their residents. One of the ways they do this is with their award-winning SPARK program. Inspired by the work and research of Maria Montessori and Dr. Cameron Camp, the SPARK program strives to offer each senior resident a sense of daily purpose. By learning each resident's talents and passions, the SPARK program helps older adults contribute to their community in such ways as joining the welcoming committee, beer-making, gardening, or some other offering unique to them. These activities and responsibilities can help give residents meaningful ways to feel productive.
Led by President and CEO Greg Roderick for over 21 years, Frontier Management believes that investing in talent is the best way to provide the best care to older adults. Certified by the Great Place to Work Institute as a great place for employees to work and develop professionally, Frontier Management strives to provide meaningful experiences not just to residents but to their families, and to caregivers and employees, too.
Using business analytics to stay ahead of senior living industry trends is just one way Frontier Management leverages technology to provide the best care. In 2022, Frontier announced a partnership with Tesis Biosciences to offer pharmacogenetic testing to residents. This testing helps identify whether residents are genetically predisposed to metabolizing certain medications common to treatments for typical age-related disease and chronic conditions. Better medication synchronization can help improve health outcomes as well as overall wellbeing. Frontier Management stays on the frontier of caregiving, helping older adults lead full and happy lives.
