The reviews for The Vineyard at Fountaingrove present a mixed picture. Many reviewers praise the facility for its caring staff, beautiful environment, and effective activities program, particularly highlighting the efforts of Christina Cruz, the Marketing Director, and other staff members who are described as compassionate and supportive. Residents and their families appreciate the community feel, the quality of care, and the engaging activities that help residents thrive. However, there are significant criticisms as well. Some reviewers report issues with understaffing, poor management, and lack of communication, leading to inadequate care and safety concerns. Complaints include unresponsiveness from management, insufficient activities, and unpleasant odors. Several reviewers mention high staff turnover and cite specific incidents of neglect, such as residents being left unattended. There are also concerns about misleading promises regarding care capabilities, particularly for residents with specific medical needs. This place looks great on the outside and inside. They have a large turnover in employees in the few months my family member was there. They let go of their executive director without notifying family members there would be a change. They still have absolutely no leadership there and it shows with how the “ caregivers” behave. Many times I have walked in facility to visit and find caregivers watching tv and not doing rounds. Checked on my family member and found her not cared for in her room. Several times with feces in depends. Or not getting them ready for bed. We have cleaned our family member up with no assistance. The facility smells like urine and feces. I think they are trying to make positive changes but we cannot wait around any more we moved our family member out of the facility. Ask a lot questions about their license and the fact that right now they can’t even take in new residents due to license issue. Hopefully they get it together, if not they should be shut down.
