Army Residence Community is a Continuing Care Retirement Community that serves retired “career military officers”. This all-inclusive and comprehensive Health Care Center offers legacy cottages, duplex cottages as well as high-rise apartment units. Legacy Cottages range between 928 sq. ft. and 1,400 sq. ft. Its Duplex Cottages range between 1,670 sq. ft. and 2,264 sq. ft. Lastly, the High-Rise Apartments vary in size from 670 sq. ft. to 1,835 sq. ft. Generally, the units at Army Residence Community feature full kitchens, emergency response pull cords, garages or carports (if applicable), washers/dryers, and a variety of customizable features.
A sample of the many features and amenities at Army Residence Community include activity and craft areas, auditorium, banking facility, billiards room, car wash area, card room, computer lab, fishing dock, garden plots, greenhouse, pet park, movie theater, medical and dental clinics, putting green lounges, The Oasis Sports Bar, The Sky Lounge, Wellness Center, a Woodworking Shop, an interdenominational Chapel, and an indoor heated swimming pool. NOTE: In this case, "career" means either a minimum of 20 years of military service (at least 10 years as a commissioned or warrant officer) OR retirement for a physical disability while on active duty as a commissioned or warrant officer. The term “officer” refers to Commissioned and Warrant Officers of the Regular, Reserve and National Guard.
