Starting with the positives: Great location; wonderful staff; pleasant, good-sized and well laid out floor plans; allows pets. My mother loved her first year or so. Delta used to be run by a family that seemed to care about its residents. More recently, the management changed hands. The present management has a patronizing attitude with residents and is tone-deaf to resident needs. It’s all about profits, not the well-being or safety of residents. Case-in-point: Having meals delivered went up 250% percent in one month, making a monthly fee go from approximately $50 a month to $300 a month. Most seniors’ incomes do not increase so sharply and most have to be very careful with their budgets. My mother had her meals delivered because of several serious medical issues that make It difficult and painful to go to the dining room and because she wanted to avoid some of the unnecessary close contact that has caused numerous outbreaks of Covid and Norovirus common in Delta and many senior facil
