My mom, who is 84 yrs young, decided to stay at Woodland through the winter months. She lives alone and the winter time can be very lonely. We are beginning to deal with the very beginning stages of Dementia so this was something we hopped on right away when she presented us with this idea. After researching and touring other facilities, we were all in agreement that Woodland was the best choice. The staff is knowledgably and friendly. The amenities were vast, I had no idea a community like this existed so we were all smiles during our 1st visit. Lyndsey was very friendly, and took her time to answer all our questions and make mom feel even more welcome. Mom had always planned to leave at the end of March. Yesterday she informed us that she has decided to stay as a permanent resident at Woodland. We couldn't be happier! Knowing mom is well cared for has been a huge weight lifted. Thank you to the entire staff and community for welcoming mom!
