Shorepointe Nursing Center

My stepdad has been to rehab on a few occasions and this facility is by far the worst I have seen. If I could give it 0 stars I would. He was put to bed at 9pm on Friday night; when I got there at 11:30am the next morning he was still in bed, laying down, not changed. He could not eat because he was laying down so his breakfast was just sitting on the tray in front of him and he was still wearing the same diaper as the night before. We had to ask the nurses to change him. If we didn't ask, he didn't get changed & he would have to sit in his own urine. "Physical therapy" consisted of one day walking up-and-down 1 stair 5 times and the next day walking up-and-down a hallway. The food is absolutely horrendous and the patients have NO choice of what to eat. They either eat what is put in front of them or they don't eat. I would starve because the food is worse than hospital food. I would never again send a loved one to this facility.
