The outdoor facilities are suitable for spring and summer, and the pricing is reasonable. The new Executive Director has been praised for excellent leadership and communication. The location is perfect, but some find the apartments small and dark compared to other facilities. The admission process was criticized for lack of professionalism and courtesy. The establishment is clean with friendly staff. The historical building has been transformed into a beautiful assisted living facility. However, it may not fit into everyone's budget. The community offers various amenities like a lunch room, rec room, movie room, dance room, and a library. The security is good with a key card system. The staff is helpful and pleasant, but there is room for improvement in communication with family members. Some find the rooms and dining area small and the number of residents few. The facility is still under construction but already offers spacious studios with full-sized beds, chairs, and dressers. Overall, American House GP is a wonderful place with beautiful surroundings and great people.
