Heartland Health Care And Rehabilitation Center

My 89yr old aunt broke her hip and started rehab at Stratford Court. I was told she needed to finish rehab at another facility that had a bed open for long-term care. I wish I was given more time to research the deception and abuse that goes on with these places we trust to take care of our precious elderly loved ones. I toured a few and unfortunately I fell for the lies the Admissions department at Heartland promised me. I was told she would receive physical therapy 6 days a week, brought to the dining room for lunch and dinner daily, participate in activities and socialize daily. She was supposed to receive a shower 2x a week along with being cleaned up every morning and changed into clean clothes then pajamas at night. Their Dr. was supposed to see her and her meds would be ordered when she arrived. The meds were not ordered til the next day after their psychiatrist saw her through telemed and determined that a 102lb woman needed to be given 3 Xanax, 2 Wellbutrin, 1 Lexapro and 1 Tr
