My mom is a vegan/vegetarian and wants to move into an assisted living community. Is it possible for me to find her a community that caters to these specific dietary needs? I'm lost. Can you help me start this search?

Of course, we are happy to help!

There are many communities that cater to specific dietary needs, and Seniorly's streamlined approach can help you find exactly the kind of care that's right for your mother. To start, visit and sign up for free. Then visit the homepage and fill in your location and time frame for finding a community. Click "Find Matches" and answer the questions to narrow your search. You can designate the type of amenities your mother would prefer, along with your estimated monthly budget. Then click "View Recommendations" and you will be taken to a page full of local results.
On the left-hand side of the page, you can narrow your choices even further by selecting additional filters. For example, you can select "Special Dietary Restrictions" or "Meal Preparation and Service" to find communities that specialize in this type of care.
On the right-hand side of the page, your results will appear, and you can click on them to view a more complete profile. If you still have questions about the type of meal services offered at a particular community, you can click the blue "Contact" button to call or message the community directly.
We hope this helps you in your search! If you'd like someone to help set up tours and connect you with communities that fit your family's needs, don't hesitate to call us at (415) 570-4370.
