I'm looking for a community for my friend in Oakland where she can be close to family and also get help managing her diabetes. Can you help?

Of course. We're happy to help! On the Seniorly platform, we have some great senior housing options in the Oakland area that may suit your friend's care needs.

Just log into your free account, and then use the "Carefinder" tool on our homepage to filter your results. You can input your preferred type of community and check the box marked "Diabetes Care" to find communities that match. You will also want to specify a max budget. On the "Profiles" page, you can even filter results further by choosing "Diabetes Diet" etc. under the "Care Services" tab. The profiles that appear on the right side of the page will show all of your viable options. You can then click onto the community title to view more information, contact the community directly, or share the option with your friend via email.
If you'd like to speak with someone and get extra assistance finding a community, you can always call our office at (415) 570-4370. Our Family Coordinators are experts at finding local communities that meet your needs, and they help take some of the burden of searching off your plate. Before long, you will be able to tour at communities to get a better sense of their offerings, and return back to Seniorly if you don't find what you're looking for.
We look forward to helping you navigate the search process, so don't hesitate to reach out!
Thank you for using Seniorly!
