I'm 80 years old and looking for senior living options in the Bay Area. I'm very active, social, and love spending time outdoors. Eventually I will need care and don't want to move more than once. Are there any communities that fit this description: that will allow me to be independent but also cater to my care needs when they arise? Thanks for your help!

Thanks for asking! I have collaborated with the Seniorly Family Coordinators on this question and they believe Assisted Living would be the best option for your needs.

At an Assisted Living Community, you will be able to live independently (in a private room if that's what you prefer), and adjust your care needs as time goes on. Today's Assisted Living communities are very active and fun, with tons of options for social engagement in the form of community activities and outreach opportunities. Many communities have happy hours, outdoor spaces, fitness programs, and more to help you stay active and independent, while also meeting new friends and discovering new hobbies along the way. So whatever you're interested in getting involved in, an Assisted Living community will have tons to offer you as you age in place.
If you're interested in speaking to a member of our team about your senior living options, just give us a call at (415) 570-4370 or email us at ask@seniorly.com. We'd be happy to walk you through the process of finding a home that's right for you!
Thank you so much for using Seniorly, we're happy to have you on board :)
