I have an older friend living in San Francisco alone and I'm worried she might become isolated. Can you direct me to a good senior center with activities she can get involved in? Thanks!

Of course! Thanks for asking, Michele. You're a great friend to look out for her and find some fun options for community engagement. The San Francisco Senior Center is one option for older adults looking to stay connected as they age. They offer lifelong learning and social activities, as well as fitness classes for seniors who want to stay in-shape and active. Socialization opportunities include low cost lunches, movie nights and concert outings at local venues. Check out their website at www.sfsenior.com Depending on where she lives, the Magnolia Senior Center in South San Francisco may also be an option for your friend. Their activity schedule is filled with fun events and the staff is kind and caring.

If either of you have any more questions or would like to be connected with a local senior living community, you can always reach us at (415) 570-4370. Thanks!
