I'd love to do some volunteer work to help the elderly! Do you have any suggestions in San Francisco?

Definitely! Have you ever heard of Self Help for the Elderly? On their website www.selfhelpelderly.org you can sign up as a volunteer and get matched with opportunities that fit your schedule and preferences. They often need help in the office, setting up for local events, as well as support for their many services including sponsoring activity centers and helping seniors find employment.

Meals On Wheels is another great program that bags and delivers food to hungry seniors. You can attend a training session to learn more about their volunteer opportunities, including shopping for groceries and transporting food to families in need.
If you are more interested in visiting one-on-one with the elderly, Little Brothers of San Francisco is a program that matches volunteers with senior friends. On their site littlebrotherssf.org you can sign up for birthday visits, holiday events and much more!
Feel free to contact us at info@seniorly.com or visit our Senior Living Blog for more information on volunteering opportunities in San Francisco! Thank you for reaching out :)
