It's so important to make sure your patient feels secure and protected over the holidays. Despite the many changes that will take place, try your best to keep the patient on their regular routine, as this will be calming and reassuring. With so many guests coming in and out of the house, you will want to make sure that someone is always watching the patient so he/she doesn't wander. If your patient becomes agitated or upset, try taking them to a quieter part of the house; they could be trying to tell you that they need a break from all of the activities.
