From the community: These are some of the topics we cover regarding dementia care during our staff training: Introduction to Dementia; Dementia Care: Effects of Medications on Persons with Dementia; Dementia Care: Tips for ADLs; Dementia Care: Therapeutic Interventions, Activities, and Communication Food Service in Dementia Care; Dementia Care: Wandering ; Dementia Care: Sundowning Dementia Care: Aggressive Behaviors; Dementia Care: Dignity and Sexuality Issues; Dementia Care: Hydration; Dementia Care: Health Complications All staff are trained in dementia care and have hands-on experience with dementia residents. We assess each resident initially and on an on-going basis and cater to the specific needs of each individual. Hope this info helps.
