Senior Services

Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging helps Cleveland seniors maintain an independent lifestyle while also supporting their health and wellness needs. The state-funded group plans and coordinates both home-based and community-based services to support any local adult with disabilities. The program covers those in Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, and Medina counties, providing an Aging and Disability Resource Network (ADRN) as well as family caregiver support. Ohio Department of Aging is the state-level aging network run by the Ohio government. It offers programs and resources to all Ohioans to help maintain healthy, active lifestyles and also provides long-term support services for Cleveland seniors living at home or in senior living communities. City of Cleveland's Department of Aging is locally operated by the government of the City of Cleveland. Rose Centers for Aging Well is a collective effort of the Golden Age Centers of Greater Cleveland and the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging, with the two groups combining resources in 2014. The goal of the center is to provide Cleveland seniors with in-home meal delivery, congregate meals, and activity programs designed to enable seniors to maintain social and educational connections in their life.
