About me
I am a retired Senior Living Executive with 30 years of experience overseeing daily operations of Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Memory Care Communities. I begun my service to seniors as a volunteer in a Nursing Home in 1987 after graduating college with my BBA. After several years of volunteering, I decided to make serving seniors and their families my life's work. I earned a Master's Degree in Long Care Administration in August 1998 from the University of North Texas. In addition, I became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in Texas (currently non-active) and a certificate in Assisted Living Managment. In 2019, I became a Certified Senior Advisor to broaden my knowledge base.
