Simpson House is not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community with Independent Living, Personal Care, Memory Care, Inpatient & Outpatient Rehabilitation, and Skilled Nursing services. It is near Fairmount Park at 2101 Belmont Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131.

In 1865, its founders established Simpson House which is America's oldest retirement community related to the United Methodist Church. There are 154 accommodations at this senior community, plus it accepts both Medicaid and Medicare. Its studios and 1-Bedroom apartments feature new kitchens or kitchenettes, closets, climate control, and plenty of storage space. The rooms are equipped with updated appliances and granite countertops. The building has grandiose architecture with a park setting and elegant interior decor with glossy tile and hardwood flooring, wooden cabinets, luxurious furnishings, and chandeliers, to name a few.

The Cornerstone is its newest expansion with 71 apartment homes on four floors, plus social fun and opportunities for residents to learn and grow. Residents can enjoy a range of amenities such as fine dining, a bistro, exercise studios, fitness room, theater, garden, walking paths, hair salon and spa, art studio, auditorium, business center and more. In terms of services, The Cornerstone provides all utilities, basic cable, 24-hour emergency response, bi-weekly housekeeping, transportation, Wifi, 24-hour security, dry cleaning, Grab & Go market, wellness center and guest accommodations.
