Longhorn Village

Longhorn Village is a non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community with 60 accommodations and Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing and Hospice Care. Residents have access to nine different floor plans, an immaculate dining facility, a full-time activity director, scheduled transportation, spacious units (apartments or stand-alone villas), discounts on university classes, and separate sections for Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing. Longhorn Village promises its residents "Distinctive Living, Social Life, Experience Dining and Wellness Every Day."

Some of the unique features at this community include a range of recreational activities (e.g., Qigong, movies, water aerobics, outings to Football games), an indoor heated swimming pool, a woodworking shop, and a connection to University of Texas. This senior community also participates in both Medicare and Medicaid. Moreover, its residents have their choice of 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom villas with "airy interiors, ample storage, important safety features and smart floor plans." Each apartment features a balcony or patio, fully-equipped kitchens with stainless steel appliances, plenty of storage, a washer and dryer, plus underground secure parking.
