The Mansion at Rosemont

History

Presby’s Inspired Life grew out of a response by members of the Presbytery of Philadelphia to provide quality housing and long-term care for older adults in the greater Philadelphia region. In 1955, the community that would later be known as Rosemont was opened to offer housing for 14 older adults who needed to be relocated after their previous residence closed. That community was the first of what is now Presby’s Inspired Life, and that initial act of charity spawned a ministry that continues to enrich an increasing number of lives.

Nurturing the body, mind and spirit is our priority throughout our Life Plan communities, where we offer independent living, personal care, skilled nursing care, short- and long-term rehabilitative care and memory support programs. Our broad range of cultural, educational, spiritual and dining programs create limitless opportunities for residents to stay active and engaged while enjoying the peace of mind that comes from knowing that additional care is available if needed. Our communities are among the most respected in the Philadelphia region.

In our Affordable Housing ministry, our more than 30-year partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development—as well as our long-term affiliation with the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency—has created opportunities for residents to live an enhanced quality of life that they may otherwise not have known in safe, affordable and beautiful apartment homes. What’s more is that our reputation for excellence in sponsorship, development and management remains the catalyst for other affordable housing developers to seek our expertise in managing their sites, resulting in several new referrals each year.
