The food at YAL is exceptionally good, including salmon, linguine with white clam sauce, beef stew, tacos, chicken cutlet. There is a choice of entree at each meal and the kitchen is most responsive to requests. The cost is very expensive, but includes laundry individual for each resident, arts and crafts, live music every week and visits by farm animals. There is physical fitness every day and chair zumba and chair yoga once a week. The resident rooms are cleaned and vacuumed weekly. The staff is not more understaffed than anyone else's, and the staff is kind and dedicated to the residents.

What they promise is not what you get .There is nothing good that I can say . My in laws live here and paying over 12k and very unhappy . The food is bland and un appetizing . We pay extra to have cable , almost 300 a mth , becuase the facilities doesn’t work . The AC and heat are not able to be controlled in their room so they are either super hot or really cold . The activities are sad .. and the nurses are over work and under staffed . Don’t move here . .
