My mom did not want to relocate to an assisted living but after 2 weeks at Quintessence she is eating more, making friends, and finally doing activities. We havent seen her this active in years. The care staff is great and management can be counted on to answer all questions and concerns immediately. We are so happy to have found this gem of a senior living community.

Not sure why the last review was so bad, but my dad loves living at Morada Quintessence. We have never had an issue with care. The staff are always available to answer questions, and he loves the activities. They are in the process of a remodel, and we are really excited for what's to come. Wish dining was better, but we were told a new chef is being hired. For the cost and the flat rate care, this is a great community.

The worst decision I ever made was moving my mother to Morada Quintessence in January 2023. The caregivers never, ever answer the call button. My mother waited hours overnight for a response-they would never come. Cleaning/showers/laundry are always postponed for reasons you don’t understand. The food is horrible too, I could go on-and-on about the crap they serve to their residents, but the care is so awful, it’s hard to even comment about the food. The people running the place are like robots. You cannot get them to show one single bit of compassion or concern regardless of how many times you talk with them about the challenges you are encountering. I started shopping for a new facility within 30 days of moving my mom to Morada and found there are far better, more caring assisted living facilities in ABQ’s northeast heights. My mother was one day from moving to one of them when she died.
