About Raytown Bickford House
Bickford of Raytown, located in Kansas City, Missouri, offers independent living, personalized assisted living, memory care, companion care, retreat stays and day stays. The community encourages residents to bring their pets and personal treasures from home to their new community. This community is all about being an extension of home and is ideal for those looking for maintenance-free living and a sense of community. Residents choose from private apartments or companion apartments and can decorate their apartment in their own personal style. Each apartment features a private bathroom, kitchenette and senior-friendly fixtures to enhance independence. Laundry services, housekeeping, a resident call and security system, and transportation services are included. In the assisted living community, an individualized service plan ensures residents get the personalized care they need 24/7. Health monitoring; medication management; assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility; medical treatments; and coordination with external services, such as therapy, are provided. Just like at home, meals are made from scratch. Residents can dine at the family table dining room, where breakfast is cooked to order and lunch and dinner features multiple entrée choices. Plus, snacks are available throughout the day in the bistro. The community also has a private dining room for family parties. The community features a salon, whirlpool spa room and lots of living rooms and sitting areas, including an outdoor patio and areas for gardening, barbecuing and bird watching. Among the daily activities are themed events, such as Hawaiian luau day and luau party, card night, arts and crafts, morning exercise classes, afternoon strolls, games and live entertainment. The monthly calendar includes lots of social activities, like trips to local restaurants, downtown shopping, or historical tours. Bickford of Raytown is a private pay senior living community. Family members give it a five-star rating for its accommodations and staff.
