When I first moved in June 2021 I felt welcomed. Within 2 months we had multiple building defects. We formed a temporary Tenants' Association to bring it to their attention and repairs. Examples of defects were ceilings falling, new appliances not working, garage ceiling falling, water seeping under the balcony etc. and other safety concerns. Our Leasing Office is not caring nor professional about the residents. The only person that helped us was Tyra who had a professional geriatric Masters degree and she was an advocate for seniors. Unfortunately she was fired from her position within 3 months. Since then we've had a complete change of staff and the Maintenance staff is great. However the atmosphere is toxic and the change of leadership didn't improve at all. Seniors independent 55 and over are treated horrible, uncaring, unfeeling, and there is a condescending attitude towards us. It's very demeaning and disrespectful to those who reside and worked so hard to pay this high price.

Beautiful luxurious peaceful and convenient location to shopping malls the Beltway parks the new UMD hospital and FedEx Field. I moved in and two months later the atmosphere and environment changed. It was exciting to have a new luxury building at first but it's not an attentive caring attitude. Tenants are not satisfied and the leadership is controlling and don't seem to care about activities for us. For the high price we pay we should be treated better. I cannot rate a 4 or 5 star. We deserve better customer service attentiveness and caring from leadership.
