About me

Dena Nightingale has spent her career helping people through challenging transitions. Her work in oncology, senior living, and as a volunteer EMT, EMS Lieutenant, and firefighter shaped her calm, compassionate approach to supporting individuals and families. Having completed additional training as an Assisted Living Manager and becoming a Certified Dementia Practitioner, Dena values each person’s story, care needs, preferences, and goals. Through Nightingale Guidance, she helps older adults, families, caregivers, and senior living communities find information, resources, and support across Carroll, Frederick, Howard, and Montgomery counties in Maryland. Her mission is to help people feel heard, informed, and confident about their next steps.
