I worked with Lisa Schuepp. She was excellent! She followed up on the areas we requested and got us the information we need to make informed decisions. I would highly recommend her!

About Rose

Rose Traub was born in Hurleyville, New York and raised in the Catskills Mountains. Growing up with a large senior population made her well rounded and inverted in the needs of the elderly. After graduating College, she took a position in the technology business with Bellsouth Mobility. After a long career there she accepted a position for Hospice then Home Health as the Community Liaison for the next ten years. Working with the community so closely, (including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and physician offices) opened her eyes to the needs of seniors in our community and transitioned her into the role of senior care advisor and senior care placement specialist. Rose is the co-author of ElderCare Simplified, a Comprehensive Manual to Guide you Through the Stages of Aging and A Guiding Light for Seniors & Their Family. Both Books are filled with information about the aging process, what to look for and what’s available as your loved one transitions into their next Journey in this life. It covers every step of the way in an easy-to-understand and highly comprehensive manner. Rose was the primary caregiver for her own parents and in-laws and became a licensed Nursing assistant to enable her to care for her loved ones better. She learned that caregiving alone is a full-time job. With possessing a career, children, and a husband, time and time again she relied on her friends for emotional support as well as valuable information. Necessity drove her to learn the ins and outs of elder services, medical services, as well as hospice services. As she learned more, she began to see the need to share this knowledge with others in an effort to help people gain the direction they need in order to plan for the future. Rose is also a certified Alzheimer’s Support Group Facilitator. She conducts two meetings a month with caregivers and others dealing with Alzheimer’s disease at two different locations in Volusia County. She shares resources and information from the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org) with the group and provides an opportunity for those dealing with all types of dementia to share their concerns and offer support to each other.
