The experience at Charlotte Health and Rehabilitation Center that my family had was horrible for the lack of another word. My spouse was there for short-term therapy after being in the hospital for two and half weeks. Ther therapy department is the only positive thing that I can say about the facility. The nursing staff gives medication without checking a resident's blood . When he would ask for assistance getting to the bathroom he was told to wait because the nurse assistant was taking up the finished dinner trays. It took her 15 minutes to return and then it was to late to go to the bathroom. The Unit Charge Nurse was in his room when I stated that something was wrong with him all she did was to just look at him from the foot of the bed. She didn't go up to him to check him at all. He ended up going to the ER and was in the hospital for 21 days with results of serious health problems. When they would change a resident they would not all the time wipe and clean them sometime
