Colonial Manor offers an unmatched level of skilled nursing care for seniors in Danville and Vermilion County, Illinois. The location was initially built in 1962 to accommodate 36 seniors in need of nursing home care. As the nursing home continued to expand based on need, two major healthcare leaders saw the potential in the property. In 1996, the Heritage family of care and Carle Foundation Hospital purchased Colonial Manor in a joint venture. Today, the senior care campus can care for 90 residents and offers an impressive array of skilled nursing and state-of-the-art therapy programs.

Skilled Therapy/RESTORE – Speech, Occupational, Physical Therapy IV, total parenteral nutrition (TPN), Wound care Portable X-ray Ultrasound EKG capability Laboratory services with a seasoned phlebotomist Tube feedings and management Training for new diabetics Colostomy/urostomy care Care plans are physician-directed. If a resident doesn’t have a primary care physician, they fall under the purview of our medical director. Our senior community also benefits from direct attention from professional staff to oversee current conditions and progress. To provide the best possible care for our residents, we work closely with OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Carle Foundation Hospital, and OSF Heart of Mary.

This senior living location has become known for our ability to provide excellent short-term skilled therapy so seniors can return to their homes. We are Medicare-certified and offer specialized treatment, seven-days-a-week. And we have a new therapy gym that provides the latest equipment. It even features a simulated home environment where seniors can practice daily living activities essential for successful therapy program graduation.
