Founded in 2004, Northbridge Communities has been in business for over 20 years, and oversees 19 senior living communities. Wendy Nowokunski, co-founder and President of Northbridge boasts over 30 years of leadership in the senior living industry. Recognized with the 2020 Women of Distinction Award, she serves on Argentum's Women in Leadership committee. Co-Founder and CEO Jim Coughlin oversees 19 communities in the New England area, and is also a member of the Beth-Israel Deaconess Board of Trustees.

Northbridge has several programs that help them stand out in the senior living landscape. Their Senior Green initiative emphasizes blending comfort with sustainability, valuing natural resources, and leaving a positive impact for future generations. The Artists in Residence program encourages reflection, communication, and creativity through artistic expression. We have lived here for 2 1/2 years. It is a very friendly community and with lots of activities though these were cut quite a bit because of Covid. The precautions taken, however, have kept us all safe and covid free. We love the daily exercise program with Jane who is wonderful with seniors. We have no regrets about giving up our long-time home and coming here.
