The Reserve at Amarillo is located in the Colonies neighborhood and features private and shared apartments, a front living room, library, sun room, garden room, 4 TV rooms, as well as a Kitchen for resident and family use. Amarillo is home to Cadillac Ranch, Amarillo Botanical Gardens, Amarillo Museum of Art, and other local attractions. We take great pride in the reputation that our team has earned for delivering highly personalized, compassionate Memory Care services. We offer enriching activities, exciting social programs, wellness classes, restaurant-quality meals, and more. Our goal is to create a safe, engaging, and comfortable place for all of our residents. The staff at The Reserve at Amarillo includes an experienced Medical Director, Registered Nurse, Certified Dementia Practitioners, and a Certified Food Service Manager. All of our residents receive an initial assessment and ongoing regular assessments by a Registered Nurse. Our Registered Nurse reviews medications with physicians, home health, and Hospice nurses to ensure each residents’ medication match their needs. Medications are then given by delegated Medication Techs according to the prescribed orders. Our medical experts take every measure to ensure the highest quality of care. Built in the summer of 2016, The Reserve at Amarillo is a stand-alone memory care community with private rooms and private bathrooms. We also have beautiful common rooms for residents and visitors to enjoy, including a library, sun room, garden room, and more. One of the highlights of our community is our restaurant-quality meals. Our On-Site Executive Chef prepares a wide variety of meals, along with homemade sweets, fresh fruit, and traditional holiday meals. The Reserve at Amarillo community offers residents a variety of social activities, programs, outings, and community initiatives. Residents also enjoy spa services, ice cream socials, family movie nights, baking, art therapy, group exercise classes, lunch outings, spa services, and more. Our community has events centered on residents’ grandchildren as well, including Easter egg hunts, Mini Carnivals, and more. We recently kicked off our resident bowling league, called Competition and Earning Strikes. Our residents love bowling night and friendly competition with other residents.
