About The Abbey At Westminster Plaza
The Abbey at Westminster Plaza Retirement Community is situated on an 8 acre campus. The Independent Living is a new, 4-story building with luxury senior apartments.
What makes us different is that we are privately owned and operated by a Texas family with over 60 years of industry experience. We also have a great staff with years of experience in Senior Housing. They form a great team, work hard, and really do their best to ensure the happiness of our residents! The Independent Living Community offers spacious 55+ custom designed senior apartments to suit your lifestyle so you can finally focus on the things you love!
We pride ourselves on our food! So we hired the best Chef we could find, Chef Imrai Sanvicente. His passion for being a great Chef is evident in his meals! With over 20 plus years of experience in Culinary Arts, his meals are sure to please the palate with much attention to presentation.
The Independent Living Community is also an active senior living community. Our Social Director, Irina Wardrip, has experience with 55+ residents to program and coordinate activities to make them appealing, inviting, and fun! She stages special events and outings for our residents each week. She is multi talented.
With a great location close to Beltway 8 in west Houston, Westheimer, and two blocks West of Royal Oaks Country Club, The Abbey at Westminster Plaza has plenty of shopping, medical, and restaurants to choose from. The campus is nestled on eight acres of meticulously landscaped grounds.
Considered some of the largest in the Houston area, our spacious apartments are fully customized with granite counter tops throughout, full size kitchens with stainless steel appliances, front loading washers and dryers, wood floors, crown molding, and individual climate controls. Step into our beautifully appointed lobby complete with onsite dining, indoor heated swimming pool, spa and a sports lounge for entertaining. And for your peace of mind, we offer onsite security, 24 hour concierge services and a parking garage. The Abbey at Westminster Plaza also boasts a Health & Wellness Center with rehab services, hydro-therapy pool, an indoor gym with track and aerobics.
