Lake Park opened in 1965 as a not-for-profit, non-denominational Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC). Lake Park is owned and operated by California-Nevada Methodist Homes and welcomes seniors of all faiths and beliefs into our community. Lake Park is a member of LeadingAge (formerly AAHSA – American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) and Aging Services of California (ASC). The membership in these affiliated National and State associations is comprised of nonprofit providers on senior housing, healthcare, and related services. Lake Park is accredited through the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission, an independent accrediting body of CARF/CCAC. This accreditation is widely recognized as the gold standard of quality for Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), which means that the community has met or exceeded industry standards for excellence in services, programs, financial stability, facilities and health care.
