Welcome to Lake Park - A Full-Service Retirement Community! Lake Park offers all levels of care for their residents: Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care. Residents are able to "age in place" while enjoying the community's numerous activities, events, and outings. Many of Lake Park's residents are Independent - they are able to live independently, while enjoying the community's convenient and delicious dining options, as well as services including laundry, housekeeping, and activities. The community also offers Assisted Living and Memory Care for residents who need a bit more support. Their caregivers are trained to assist with Activities of Daily Living like bathing, dressing, grooming, etc., as well as memory support for residents who have dementia and other forms of memory loss. Lake Park is an easy stroll from the Lake Merritt pathways, Chinatown, Oakland Museum, the Central Library, and many other cultural and recreational venues of the area. BART stations and the bus transit stops are conveniently located near Lake Park. There is scheduled transportation from Lake Park on a regular basis, and Oakland’s free city shuttle stop is a short walk away.
