    What families are saying
The Village at Gainesville has received mixed reviews from residents and their families. Many praised the facility for its beautiful setting, spacious apartments, and wide range of amenities, including a laundry ensuite, big refrigerators, and a variety of classes and activities. The staff was often described as helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The food was generally well-received, with some residents appreciating the variety and quality. However, some reviewers expressed concerns about the facility's pricing, with a few stating that it was too expensive. There were also complaints about the quality of the food, with some residents feeling it was just adequate or had declined in quality over time. One major concern raised by a few reviewers was the facility's decision to allow college students to live and eat there, which they felt was a dangerous move given the age of the residents. Despite these concerns, many residents expressed satisfaction with their decision to live at The Village at Gainesville, citing its stress-free living, plentiful amenities, and the convenience of having a washer and dryer in the unit. Some also appreciated the facility's proximity to the hospital and the fact that it offered a full kitchen, unlike other places that only had a kitchenette. Overall, The Village at Gainesville appears to be a generally well-regarded senior living community, although potential residents and their families may want to consider the cost and the facility's policies regarding non-senior residents.

I just returned after leaving for 9 months of medical care. This is the best independent living facility in the area. The management and staff are outstanding and provide service that is above and beyond the call of duty. The Riviera restaurant provides a fine dining experience with excellent food and service. The activities provided cover a wide range and include gardening. Just a few of the reasons I decided to return. Take a tour and see for yourself.
