Our Springdale expansion is meeting the needs of today’s new generation of retirees by offering independent living, along with the security of continuing care. As always, we remain true to our long tradition of providing the best in senior care.Miss Lucy Corr, former Director of Chesterfield County’s Social Services Department, wanted to start a nursing home that reflected the strong family values embedded in the Chesterfield County community. That meant taking care of people who did not have the means to care for themselves. Within four years, she had spearheaded the effort to build a first-class nursing home in Chesterfield in 1970, the first of its kind in the County.Maintaining its tradition of value and quality, Lucy Corr Village supports the independence and wellness of its residents and participants through a continuum of care and a community of support, hospitality and compassion.Lucy Corr Village will grow and align its services to respond to emerging needs and changes affecting residential services and health care. At the same time, Lucy Corr Village will continue to support its residents’ and clients’ lifestyle choices, independence and wellness, providing the full range of high quality continuing care by capable and attentive staff at the greatest possible value.
