Management and maintenance care more about themselves than the residents. My mom lived there, and the residents, housekeeping and most staff were fine. Maintenance man did not care at all! Had to bring a Sunheat into my mom's room one weekend just so there was heat in her room. She had complained numerous times about the lack of warmth, but it was always "her" fault. Nothing he could do than he had already done. When we finally moved her out during Covid, the air conditioning also didn't work. It was so hot in there I about cooked just packing up her stuff. Maintenance also came in and said it wasn't the air conditioner--whatever! He did nothing to make it any better in there. No ingenuity was implemented during Covid to try and make things as normal as possible for residents--just, stay in your room and eat there too. Other facilities still followed the guidelines, but didn't make their facilities a jail. We couldn't even talk to her through an open window, maintaining 6-10 ft distance. Had to sit with cell phone outside her window and talk on phone. So when things were released just a little, if my mom would do something like sneak out of her room to go outside to water her plants or perhaps sneak open a window a little bit, she was immediately quarantined when caught. Once while in quarantine, she walked to the Administrator's office to speak with her. She was immediately re-quarantined, but the Administrator was not. Not sure when you go to their web page how they achieved any type of 2022 award, but I wouldn't take my dog to live there. There are better facilities.
